LEARN MOREInternational Programs Offices will be closed on December 24th and 25th for Christmas.
Also, on December 23rd, 26th, and 27th, International Programs will only provide remote services via email or Zoom.
In addition to applying for your F-1 visa, there are some things to take care of before you depart for Seattle, including signing up for orientation, securing your housing, and reviewing airport transportation options.
To prepare for your first quarter, review the pre-arrival checklist. International students enrolling at Seattle Colleges have several housing options to choose from, and should secure their housing arrangements as soon as possible, no later than 6 weeks before the first day of the quarter. Make sure to have all your travel documents in order, and go through your packing list to make sure you have all your essentials. If approved for a visa, you are allowed to enter the U.S. up to 30 days before the program start date listed on your SEVIS I-20 form.PRE-ARRIVAL CHECKLIST
