F-1 VISA

All international students, with the exception of Canadian citizens, must have an F-1 visa to study in the United States.

ARRANGE HOUSING

International students enrolling at Seattle Colleges have several housing options to choose from and should secure their housing as soon as possible, and no later than 6 weeks before the first day of the quarter.

PREPARE FOR TRAVEL

Make sure to have all your travel documents in order, including your passport, visa, and I-20 form. Also, remember to go through your packing list to make sure you have all your essentials.

ARRIVE IN SEATTLE

If approved for a visa, you are allowed to enter the U.S. up to 30 days before the program start date listed on your SEVIS I-20 form.
