International Student Scholarships

Seattle Colleges is proud to offer a wide range of scholarships to both new/future AND current international students. In addition to Seattle Colleges' affordable annual tuition, partners' scholarships, and work opportunities available under F-1 visa rules, our international student scholarships are a great way to help you fund your U.S. education. All eligible students are encouraged to apply. Don't wait! Apply today to start saving on your tuition.

We encourage all students to take advantage of the following scholarship opportunities:

Seattle Colleges Foundation Scholarships

Thanks to generous donors, the Seattle Colleges Foundation is able to support hundreds of students at North, Central and South Seattle Colleges each year. Foundation scholarships are open to everyone, including both new/future AND current international students. In 2024-2025, more than half of all students who applied for a Foundation scholarship received one, and the average award was about $4,000.

Foundation Scholarship applications can be completed online from mid-January to mid-March every year. Results are announced in late May and funds are applied to students' accounts in the fall. For more information, visit the Seattle Colleges Foundation website.

International Programs' Awards for New/Future Students

International Programs offers additional opportunities for new/future international students to save money on tuition, starting in the second quarter of attendance. Award amounts and requirements vary by country/region. See below for more details.

Indonesia: $1,500 available for students applying on their own (without the assistance of a partner education agency or institution) for Spring or Summer 2025. Email IntlFutureStudent@seattlecolleges.edu for more information.

International Programs' Tuition Support Awards for Current Students

Once enrolled, make sure to keep an eye on our monthly e-newsletter and social media platforms as we often provide Tuition Support Awards for current international students. Awards typically range from $1,000 to $3,000 and cover tuition and fees.

Honor Society Scholarships

Seattle Colleges is home to two Student Honor Societies, Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) and the National Society of Leadership and Success (NSLS). Both organizations offer dedicated scholarships to their members: PTK has millions of dollars in transfer scholarships available annually while NSLS members can apply for over $400,000 in scholarships and awards each year.

LewerMark Scholarships

Lewermark, Seattle Colleges' medical insurance provider, provides current international students with $3,000 scholarships twice a year (fall and spring). For more information about these scholarship opportunities, visit https://www.lewermark.com/lewermark-scholarship/.

Partner Universities' Transfer Scholarships

Many of our partner universities offer transfer scholarships to Seattle Colleges' graduates. Transfer scholarships can sometimes be automatic (based on GPA), or require a formal and dedicated application. Here are a few examples below:
